In the light of the latest Pastoral Letter from Archbishop Brynes, we the Clergy of Agana Cathedral-Basilica & Our Lady of Purification are making the following updates regarding the parking lot Masses and the reception of the Holy Communion for this coming Sunday, August 23, 2020, and for all our Weekday Masses thereafter.
To the faithful parishioners of Dulce Nombre de Maria Cathedral-Basilica, and to Our Lady of Purification, Maina, please note that in light of the uptick of positive cases on our island, and in an effort to adhere to the call to shelter in place, click here to read the latest update of Masses for this weekend for both parishes.
In compliance with the Governor’s Executive Order, weekday and Sunday Masses inside the Church have been suspended temporarily while the island is on PCOR-1. Please see the following updates regarding the parish.
Mass Schedule Update Beginning Monday, August 3, 2020, the Cathedral – Basilica will have 12:10PM Masses daily on weekdays at the Chapel of Saint Therese. The 6PM evening Masses will only be for recently deceased loved ones or for death anniversaries. There will be no 12:10PM Masses on Saturdays beginning August 8, 2020. The Wednesday 6PM Saint Peregrine Mass in the Main Church will be maintained for those with cancer. Si Yu’us Ma’ase’
